Staff from Dublin-based software giant Xilinx are organising their second art exhibition to raise money to save sight.

The exhibition will take place on 4-7 February 2019 at Xilinx’s offices in Citywest, and will showcase a range of hand-turned wood pieces, delicate blown glass and striking photography.

Xilinx staff member Alex Warren organised a previous week-long exhibition in December 2017, themed around the importance of sight.

Alongside the impressive showcase, he also ran a raffle that raised €1,370 for Sightsavers – a cause that Alex describes as being “very close to his heart”. The money he raised could provide up to 38 sight-restoring operations.

A huge thank you to Alex and the Xilinx team for their continued support.
