The report includes information on project selection, development of an Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plan, adaptation of data collection tools and training of Country Offices (COs) staff, partners and data collectors. This baseline also captures the knowledge, attitudes and practices of programme managers, decision makers and data collectors around disability, the availability of data, and the experiences of Sightsavers’ implementing staff.
The main objective of this report is to provide a record of the situation in the two sites at the start of the pilot projects against which progress can be compared. Additionally it will report qualitative information that will inform future disaggregation of data in Sightsavers’ projects and enable us to share externally how we have gone about this project. Publication date: December 2014
