Sightsavers social inclusion strategy: creating a disability-inclusive world

People with disabilities often experience higher levels of poverty and discrimination, as well as significant barriers to claiming their rights.

Progress has been achieved in some areas but despite this, people with disabilities are still excluded from development programmes and policies.

Sightsavers’ social inclusion strategy sets out how we will contribute to the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities – globally, and in our programming countries – through our programmatic, research and influencing work. Publication date: May 2021
